1994 | Herman Miller T.D. Collection

The T.D. Collection was so named by taking the first initial of its duo of designers: Tom (Newhouse) and Don (Shepherd). They collaborated with Herman Miller and Crate & Barrel to create a new home office furniture offering by Herman Miller that included solid cherry tables, desks, bookcases and storage units. The collection was sold through Crate & Barrel stores. “Most people don’t have the luxury of separate space for work, so we designed the furniture to fit seamlessly into home interiors.” –D.A.S.
