“A concept that I have been working on for a number of years involves the encasing of carefully made wire cones, inside of glass. I call the resulting pieces ‘spheres,’ even though they take on a variety of shapes. The process is very controllable with an exceptional improvisational range and, to me, is a form of visual jazz.
